The Forces of Innovation

Seeking to build a strong base to provide effective library services to the Spanish-speaking community, the Library actively recruited Latino librarians in the late 1970s. Since then, the library has hired numerous Spanish-speaking librarians and staff members who have facilitated innovative community outreach and public programs, developed and maintained book and archival collections, as well as supporting new immigrants by connecting them with resources.

Below is a list of NJHRIC staff members, library and archival interns, assistants, and volunteers, all of whom are the forces behind innovative library services to the Spanish-speaking community.
